Virus Hepatitis merupakan salah satu penyakit menular yang menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat di negara berkembang di dunia termasuk salah satunya yaitu Indonesia. Penyakit hepatitis virus dapat berpengaruh terhadap angka kesakitan. Hepatitis B disebabkan oleh virus Hepatitis B (HBV). Hepatitis B dapat dicegah dengan vaksin yang aman dan efektif yang tersedia saat ini. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada Forum Mahasiswa Kepulauan Seribu mengenai definisi penyakit Hepatitis B, macam – macam penyakit Hepatitis B dan penyebabnya. Selain itu, kami melakukan kegiatan sosialisasi mengenai vaksinasi hepatitis sebagai bentuk upaya pencegahan terhadap penyakit Hepatitis B. Metode yang digunakan oleh anggota pengabdian masyarakat adalah metode presentasi dengan bantuan slide powerpoint melalui aplikasi google meet. Kegiatan ini melibatkan peran serta mahasiswa/i dari kelas Bioteknologi Farmasi Pagi B, Tahun Akademik Genap 2020/2021 dan pihak Forum Mahasiswa Kepulauan Seribu. Hasil yang dicapai yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan kepada Forum Mahasiswa Kepulauan Seribu akan hal penyakit Hepatitis B dan vaksin Hepatitis B yang terlihat dari hasil adanya lemparan pertanyaan kepada pihak panitia. Manfaat yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini seperti memberi pengetahuan lebih dan mengedukasi peserta Forum Mahasiswa Kepulauan Seribu mengenai berbagai jenis vaksin Hepatitis B untuk program imunisasi rutin sebagai tindakan pencegahan terhadap penyakit Hepatitis B.
