Intervensi Posisi Quarter Prone Pada Bayi Respiratory Distress Syndrome Dengan Pola Napas Tidak Efektif di RSUD Gunung Jati Cirebon

Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS) merupakan gangguan pernapasan pada neonatus akibat imaturitas paru dan defisiensi surfaktan yang menyebabkan kolaps alveoli, gangguan pertukaran gas, dan peningkatan kerja napas, terutama pada bayi prematur dan berat lahir rendah. Salah satu intervensi nonfarmakologis berbasis evidence-based practice adalah posisi quarter prone yang efektif meningkatkan ventilasi paru, memperbaiki oksigenasi dan menstabilkan frekuensi napas. Karya ilmiah akhir ini bertujuan menganalisis asuhan keperawatan pada pasien RDS serta efektivitas intervensi quarter prone dalam memperbaiki oksigenasi dan menstabilkan frekuensi napas. Metode penulisan menggunakan deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi, rekam medis dan pemeriksaan fisik, serta menelaah catatan medik maupun catatan perawat. Berdasarkan hasil pengkajian didapatkan 3 diagnosa yaitu pola nafas tidak efektif, termoregulasi tidak efektif, resiko infeksi. Intervensi dilakukan pada By. Ny. F selama 3 hari dilakukan tindakan posisi quarter prone. Berdasarkan hasil intervensi diperoleh By. Ny. F mengalami perbaikan SPO2 dan respirasi dengan menggunakan metode posisi quarter prone. Simpulan dalam karya tulis ilmiah akhir ini adalah terdapat perbaikan SPO2 dan respirasi pada bayi dengan RDS dengan menggunakan metode posisi quarter prone. Saran untuk perawat agar posisi quarter prone dapat diterapkan sebagai intervensi keperawatan mandiri untuk meningkatkan oksigenasi pasien bayi prematur dengan RDS.
