Hubungan Peran Orang Tua Dengan Kesiapan Toilet Training Pada Anak Toddler Di Desa Cibokor Kecamatan Cibeber Kabupaten Cianjur
Abstract
Toilet training merupakan proses penting dalam perkembangan anak usia toddler, di mana keterlibatan aktif orang tua sangat dibutuhkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara peran orang tua dengan kesiapan toilet training pada anak usia toddler di Desa Cibokor, Kecamatan Cibeber, Kabupaten Cianjur. Studi ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 110 orang tua, dengan sampel sebanyak 52 orang yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 30 orang tua (57,7%) memiliki peran yang baik dalam mendukung toilet training, sementara 32 anak (61,5%) telah menunjukkan kesiapan dalam melakukan toilet training. Uji statistik Chi-Square menghasilkan p-value sebesar 0,013, yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara peran orang tua dan kesiapan toilet training pada anak usia toddler. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan orang tua dapat terus membimbing anak dengan lebih optimal agar kesiapan mereka dalam menjalani toilet training semakin meningkat.
