FORMULASI EMULGEL TRANSDERMAL ASETOSAL MENGGUNAKAN SPAN 80 KOMBINASI TWEEN 80 SEBAGAI EMULGATOR

Asam asetil salisilat atau yang lebih dikenal dengan asetosal atau aspirin merupakan senyawa yang memiliki khasiat sebagai analgesik, antipiretik, dan anti inflamasi pada penggunaan dosis besar. Saat ini asetoal dengan dosis rendah merupakan antiplatelet yang sering digunakan pada pasien dengan penyakit jantung koroner maupun pada hipertensi berat untuk mencegah stroke.
Penelitian yang diusulkan akan difokuskan pada formulasi Tween 80 kombinasi Span 80 sebagai emulgator dalam formulasi sediaan emulgel transdermal asetosal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksprimen dengan membuat sediaan emulgel transdermal asetosal menggunakan Tween 80 kombinasi Span 80 sebagai emulgator dengan variasi konsentrasi 4%, 4,5%, 5%, 10%, kemudian dilakukan evaluasi sediaan transdermal asetosal. Tingkat kesiapterapan teknologi telah direview dan dilakukan survei bahan bahwa asetosal sebagai obat yang potensial dan dapat dikembangkan menjadi sediaan emulgel transdermal melalui penggunaan Tween 80 kombinasi Span 80. Kemudian dilakukan evaluasi emulgel transermal asetosal menunjukan bahwa konsentrasi 10% Twen 80 kombinasi Span 80 menghasilkan sediaan emulgel transdermal asetosal yang paling baik.
